TRUST GOD ONE DAY AT A TIME! &
“PRAY WITHOUT CEASING! ”

Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of the Christ risen...Mother Teresa

BELIEVE
To believe is to know that every day is a new beginning. It is to trust that miracles happen, and dreams really do come true.To believe is to see angels dancing among the clouds,To know the wonder of a stardust sky and the wisdom of the man in the moon.To believe is to know the value of a nurturing heart,The innocence of a child’s eyes and the beauty of an aging hand, for it is through their teachings we learn to love.To believe is to find the strength and courage that lies within us.When it is time to pick up the pieces and begin again. To believe is to know we are not alone,That life is a gift and this is our time to cherish it.To believe is to know that wonderful surprises are just waiting to happen,And all our hopes and dreams are within reach. If only we believe.

St. Ignatius of Loyola

Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my entire will, All I have and call my own.

You have given all to me. To you, Lord, I return it.

Everything is yours; do with it what you will. Give me only your love and your grace, that is enough for me.

Finding Peace Through Happiness

Happiness is found in who you are, not what you do or how much you have. Happiness is a state of mind. Think happy thoughts, be happy. Think unhappy thoughts, be unhappy.
You can find happiness today if you only look. It’s right next to you. Happiness is found in the here and now, in the people who touch your life. Happiness cannot be seen with the naked eye. During trying times, happiness comes in the form of blessings in disguise — invisible to the naked eye.
No amount of money, possessions or ego gratification can bring you happiness. There is no such thing as the perfect car, house, job or person to make you happy. Peace of mind comes with the recognition that happiness is totally and unequivocally in your control. Like turning on a light to illuminate a darkened room, feelings of you and bliss are yours when you choose to turn on your inner light, which is forever charged and ready to shine.
Acts Of Happiness
Give yourself to others
Do something for yourself everyday
Make a friend
Be a friend
Smile in sadness
Renew your faith in God and know that you are blessed
Count your blessings
Find the blessings in disguise

What a perfect post, Virginia! Although, it's been raining non-stop here since Friday, I am still grateful and able to find peace and happiness about everything. Joe had about 4-5 hrs of sleep last night which rarely happens. He's still in pain but his spirits are always up (they'll increase his dose again today).

Thanks for the last comment you had on my blog. You're such a GEM. GOD BLESS.

Dear Virginia,
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. The poem that you left for my Erin is beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to share it with us.

Your post today is beautiful also. I agree with you. Happiness must come from within....not with the things around us... an attitude of gratitude goes a long way in making us happy.

I hope that you will stop by my blog often. I will add you to my google reader as well.

Thanks again for your inspiring words. Grammy Lura

Oh Virginia, your place is simply lovely! I am so blessed to be waltzing through your encouraging words. (I really needed a bit of reminding today.) Thankfully you visited my blog and left a trail back to you so that I could come and see what the Lord has done for you -- it's beautiful! I shall return again and again to dance in your peaceful, joyful nook of the web. : )
