God and His beautiful creations. A beautiful garden, is candy to my eyes.

Decorate my house, go thrift or garage sale shopping or just get time alone to recharge my soul.
What’s one of your favorite vintage pieces in your home:
I have a beautiful White Vintage Soup Tureen with Ladle which was my grandmother.

Pink Saturday !

I just LOVE living in Naples, Florida. It's so beautiful here. Talk about "heaven on earth" -- well, this comes pretty close to me! For Pink Saturday I’m sharing some images of Naples, and some flowers grown there.

Naples pier - fisherman are fishing, the tourists watching the sunset. We have the most beautiful sunset.

Naples Beach. We also have Pink houses !

Naples, Flora

Railroad vine (Ipomoea pes-caprae)

Paneira (Chorisa speciosa)

Tropical hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)

Hopeful Friday

God’s beauty is all around us each and every day, all persons and things beautiful, however, are only a pale reflection of the beauty of God Himself. Created things possess a degree of beauty, some more, some less, whereas God Himself is infinite Beauty.
Late have I loved Thee, Beauty ever ancient, ever new, late have I loved Thee"
St. Augustine, lamenting the years spent without the knowledge of God
For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it.
For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it.
For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it.
Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything that is beautiful; for beauty is God's handwriting--a wayside sacrament."-- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Cheap Chic: Consignment Stores

What a great little store my Mom discovered and took me last week when I went to visit her . It’s call The Secret Garden consignment store .
This gorgeous store will remind you why you’re glad to be a girl. It’s fancy, frilly and romantic, full of ruffles, lace and luxury. The store treasures include accents for the home, such as Victorian lampshades, vintage stained glass, small hand-painted furniture and embellished linens, among many other things. This is a great place to find great cute clothes for women, some are new or gently used. You’ll also want to pamper yourself with jewelry, vintage-style garden hats, lush robes and much more. This is a beautiful, clean, and organized store. I thought I'd share these photos from this fabulous shop located in Deerfield, Florida.

Hopeful Friday
Today is Hopeful Friday hosted by http://houseinroses.blogspot.com/ please go and visit Cielo and all the participants . Their beautiful posts will uplift and inspire you.

We are merely passengers on our ship of destiny and love is the compass that guides our journey through life. Whether it is love for another human being, a cherished goal, or a desire to find completeness and meaning to our lives bears little consequence on the necessity for following the course that love charts. Love cannot live comfortably in a vacuum. It must be allowed free reign and be given the opportunity to explore beyond the confining walls of self-protection which we construct as barriers to the ravages of life. It is the flagship of our soul and the purveyor of our most cherished dreams of a purposeful existence. Love we hide or hold back from others out of fear is love wasted. It is of no value to us when held inside but can increase in value a hundredfold when shared with another like minded individual or when directed towards a greater aspiration beyond our own selfish needs.
Love
I may speak all languages of humans and of angels.
I may speak all languages of humans and of angels.
But if I did not love others,
I would be nothing more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell.
I may have the gift of prophesy,
I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets.
And I may have faith that moved mountains.
But if I have no love for others, I would be nothing.
I may give away everything I have and give up myself to be burned.
I would gain nothing, unless I loved others.
Love is patient, love is kind,
Love never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude.
Love is not selfish or quick tempered.
Love does not keep a record of wrongs that others do.
Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil.
Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.
Love never fails … There are faith, hope, and love.
And the greatest of these is love.
