Every day when we go out into the world we have the chance to be the face of Christ and inspire the world with His love. Let us be challenged to go beyond our denominational biases and truly step forward to be a vessel of service for the Lord.
"What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like."
~ St. Augustine of Hippo
"We can cure physical diseases with medicine but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more who are dying for a little love. Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So spread love everywhere you go."
~ Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta
Gracious God, may your Spirit give strength to all your people as they work and witness in your world. Unite us in truth and love, and help us to show your love to others.

Hi, found your link at Spiritual Sundays. Thanks for sharing this, it is so true, we need to focus on this and not on the temporary things that seem to hold us down.
Hugs ~ Mary
Beautiful post. Thank you for sharing.
Thank-you for sharing inspiring words and a beautiful song. "Let us be the face of Jesus . . ." Yes!
Visiting from Spiritual Sundays.
Be the face of Christ. I love that! I want others to see Christ in me. Mother Theresa was an amazing woman. Surely she was the face of Christ.
Lovely post; we were created to do two things on earth; learn to love God and learn to love all people, so that His light shines through us!
Blessings, and thank you for visiting me over at my place. :)
