Make your life a prayer.

 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Obstacle

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand!

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our present condition. We often fail to see beyond the obstacle. Problems are there in every person’s life but the way we look at the problem is what matters. We can make a mess of our lives, feel sorry for ourself, get discourage  or we can chose to handle our problem. We need to go beyond the problem to get the solution. Trials make us stronger. Life is full of challenges but God will help us to face these challenges and make a way to take us through it!.

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12

“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance.” Romans 5:3

What Suffering Teach Us

In a cross is where my Jesus hung and die for me, it is at the foot of that cross where I leave and offered all my suffering, worries and disappointment to my God for the conversion of sinners and the atonement of my sins and of the whole world.
When I suffered I am reminded of how much our Lord endure for our salvation. I had and still have my share of suffering, but I now look at it in a different light. It has made me a better more understanding  person, I appreciate each day more and try to live with more compassion and love for others.

What suffering teach us.
We derive immense merit from every suffering borne patiently, even the little sufferings of our daily live.
God will give us abundant strength to bear suffering if we only ask Him.
If we bear our suffering patiently, they lose their sting of bitterness.
Above all, every suffering is a share in the Passion of our Lord.

³ And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, ⁴ and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, ⁵ and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.

Prayer
“May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing that you are a child of God.
