TRUST GOD ONE DAY AT A TIME! &
“PRAY WITHOUT CEASING! ”

Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of the Christ risen...Mother Teresa

BELIEVE
To believe is to know that every day is a new beginning. It is to trust that miracles happen, and dreams really do come true.To believe is to see angels dancing among the clouds,To know the wonder of a stardust sky and the wisdom of the man in the moon.To believe is to know the value of a nurturing heart,The innocence of a child’s eyes and the beauty of an aging hand, for it is through their teachings we learn to love.To believe is to find the strength and courage that lies within us.When it is time to pick up the pieces and begin again. To believe is to know we are not alone,That life is a gift and this is our time to cherish it.To believe is to know that wonderful surprises are just waiting to happen,And all our hopes and dreams are within reach. If only we believe.

St. Ignatius of Loyola

Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my entire will, All I have and call my own.

You have given all to me. To you, Lord, I return it.

Everything is yours; do with it what you will. Give me only your love and your grace, that is enough for me.

Surrender

Living in peaceful surrender is my daily goal. Sometimes I’m able to accomplish it other times I fail miserable . When that happens I remember
 Lamentations 3:22-23
New Living Translation (NLT)
22. The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
23. Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.

God’s greatest gift to us is His Compassion and mercy that allow us to begin again, and our greatest gift to God is our surrender. When we surrender we open ourselves to allow God to work and guide us in our daily life. Aren’t we glad that God is compassionate and merciful ? He is worthy of all the worship and praise that we can possibly offer.

Hi, What a wonderful post on surrender to God! I've had a couple of wise pastors who challenged us to daily tell God we surrender ourselves to Him and I started doing that years and years ago - I have NEVER regretted it. Not that I am perfect. Or that I don't have to re-surrender often. :) But just the joy of choosing His will and choosing to live the surrendered life continually - and telling Him, "if I don't remember to do it - Please take me ANYWAY" and knowing I can trust Him to do it. It's truly a blessing! Thank you for a lovely reminder and those encouraging Bible verses

My husband illustrates God's mercies as sitting by the front door, new and ready to be picked up as we being a new day. Great is His faithfulness!

I loved this post. I just read this morning: It's God's job to sanctify me, and my job to rest in His love.
